1. Information Collection and Use

Basic Account Information: When you create or reconfigure an account, you provide some personal information, such as your name, username, password, email address, or phone number. On the Services, your name and email address are listed within any organization of which you are a member.

Contact Information: You may use your contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to customize your account or enable Services, for example, for login verification, or for reminders via SMS. If you provide Electrolab with your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages to that number from Electrolab. Electrolab may use your contact information to send you information about the Services, to market to you, to help prevent spam, fraud, or abuse, and to help organization administrators find your account, including through third-party services and client applications. You may use your settings for email and mobile notifications to control notifications you receive from the Services. You may also unsubscribe from a notification by following the instructions contained within the notification or the instructions on Electrolab's website. If you email us, Electrolab may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request.

Entries, Reminders and other Information: the Services are primarily designed to help you submit entries and receive reminders. Most of the information you provide Electrolab through the Services is information you are asking Electrolab to make visible to any organization of which you are a member. Your visible information includes the entries you submit; the metadata provided with entries, such as when the entry was submitted; the language and time zone associated with your account; and the reminders you create and many other bits of information that result from your use of the Services. Electrolab may use this information to make inferences, such as topics you may be interested in, and to customize the Services. Electrolab's default is almost always to make the information you provide through the Services visible to any organization of which you are a member, for as long as you are a member of that organization, and as long as you do not delete the information, but Electrolab gives you the option to delete your information, or leave an organization at any time, or make the information more private if you want. You can change the language and time zone associated with your account at any time using your profile settings. The Services broadly and instantly disseminate your visible information to a wide range of users, organizations, and services. For instance, your entries are immediately visible to administrators of any organization of which you are a member. When you share information or content via the Services, you should think carefully about what you are making visible.

Location Information: Electrolab may receive information about your location. For example, when you create your SafeStart.me account, the registration process may tell Electrolab your location. Electrolab may also determine location by using other data from your device, such as precise location information from GPS, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. Electrolab may use and store information about your location to provide features of the Services, and to improve and customize the Services.

Electrolab does this to help improve the Services and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.

You can also permanently delete your SafeStart.Me account. If you follow the instructions in the help documentation, your account will be deactivated and then deleted. When your account is deactivated, it is not viewable on SafeStart.me. For up to 60 days after deactivation it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated. Absent a separate arrangement between you and Electrolab to extend your deactivation period, after 60 days, Electrolab will begin the process of deleting your account from Electrolab's systems, which can take up to a week.

Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, even after you have deleted the information from the Services or deactivated your account.
